Where to find a JP in Bayside

Need a Justice of the Peace (JP) today? This is a frequent question in our local Facebook groups, so you're certainly not alone.

Justices of the Peace (JPs) are volunteers blessed with the state's authority to certify copies of original documents or witness someone making a legal declaration. They provide their services free of charge and are conveniently located in various parts of Bayside.

Prior to visiting a JP, it’s important to check their availability, location and if an appointment is required. If you need a large number of documents certified, you should advise the JP of this in advance. Furthermore, ensure that the documents are not pre-signed and that you bring your identification documents to the appointment.
